You're right. I meant it in terms of avoiding the need of cloud access, of course it's not a 100% internet-based tool... thanks for the clarification :)
Thanks, compatibility & upgrades make a great point to consider... any pros that CS6 has and you miss in the cloud? I'm concerned you need Internet access all the time, or a substantial speed to work properly.
Yes, Wingman seems to be the best bang-for-the-buck Leatherman... thanks.
Thanks for the suggestions. The Skeletool is the one I'm interested in, just keeping an eye in a few complaints about the pliers breaking apart... but I'll decide soon. The Allen set is a great idea. I got a Lezyne CRV-12 for my bike long time ago, it doesn't hurt to throw it in the backpack... thanks.
Let me clarify the scenario: short doc, following a subject, Canon 5D, Zoom H5, RodeLink Lavalier, AT6530 shotgun, Revo 1500 shoulder rig, SmallRig quick cage, no lights. A few interiors and some walking shots in the street. Some of my future shootings will be similar. I'm not a gaffer on set, I don't need a 17-tool Leatherman Wave for sure. I want to have a multi tool, but I wonder if a small tool like the 7-tool Skeletool will fall short... thanks to all those familiar with multi tools!
I was told that an internet connection was needed for several features and it wasn't possible to edit without being online. I read now that the connection is only needed to renew subscription...
