Thanks! Yes that's another benefit of the GH4 that's worth adding to the list. Do you have a link/tutorial for how to set it up so you get 3 different shots from one framing? (Your idea sounds great for cases when we interview two people at the same time!)

I don't think we'd be shooting in 4k all the time though as I imagine you fill memory card and hard drive space rather quickly with 4k files.

Thanks Guy - that's by and large also my experience actually. Giving the subject a list of topics is great advice - I will do that in future. That's a great way to avoid them being overly prepared.

I guess the main trouble sometimes is to convince people that they really don't need to read off a notepad to answer a question on what they do every day, they know the answer!

What are people views on future proofing lenses? I have a T3i at the moment and don't want to invest in Canon L series lenses because I might not stick with Canon when I upgrade. I'm not in bad need of better lenses for now and just buy old all manual lenses when I want to try something new. That's ok but for photography the lack of AF can be a bit tedious (but also fun of course if you're playing around). So this seems silly to me. I want to get nice lenses that I can use to their max potential (AF for photography, aperture control) even if I switch brand. So I feel a bit stuck - I'm just waiting until I have the money to upgrade my camera.
