I use Premier Pro. My project is 1080 and I want to export in 1080, but I know that people drop 4K footage into a 1080 timeline so they have more to crop in on and retain high quality footage. Just wondering if that is the best way of working with 4K on a 1080 timeline?

I might have complicated things further by recording the audio of both workshop sessions to a Zoom H4N audio recorder. So if I reinterpret the footage I think the audio won't sync properly. Or can I speed up the audio a pinch (I only need one frame) and balance the pitch?

Also on the point of reinterpreting footage. Wouldn't I be better reinterpreting the 25fps to 24fps so I lose a frame, rather than going from 24fps to 25fps and creating a new frame?

Thanks Casey. I need a DSLR as I will need to take corporate photos as well as producing film content. I have been looking at the 80D quite a bit and also the GH4 which looks like an amazing bit of kit.

Why would you rate a crop frame camera over a full frame camera? Just due to cost?

The camera work is probably the best thing about the video. Sorry I really think the song sucked and the acting was really bad. I felt so creeped out by the guy with the eyeliner and his odd looks to camera (how the fuck do you have so many views though!). As there's a lot of footage of this chap, you could have played around with a vignette or maybe a cool little lens baby to throw focus and make it a bit more interesting as the shots of him/her do become a bit tedious. I liked the outdoor shots and the lighting was really nice with all the autumnal browns of the leaves and trees which also matched the brickwork of the building which I liked. I think when making a music video with a narrative though, you really need to be clearer as to what is going on, I had no idea what the dolls related to or what the second couple were doing. Overall though, good job.
