Anamorphic lens/adapter opinions?

So I've really wanted to start shooting anamorphic. I've looked at the old projector lenses and they seem to have quite a few limitations with clamps, only being able to focus a certain distance, and double focus. I've thought about the letus anamorphx 1.33 but it doesn't seem to bring the imperfections, bokeh, etc to be worth it for the price. (from the tests I saw but could be wrong.) Does anyone have any other suggestions or opinions? Thanks!
