The king of budget lighting has some holiday sale! For our Deals of the Day, we found three lights from Aputure you don't want to miss.

Aputure has grown from offering affordable light panels to being the biggest manufacturer of budget lights. Sure, the Aputure 1200d is pricey, but it's still more affordable than anything from the likes of ARRI or Digital Sputnik. While those lights are top-tier, creatives can't always afford them.

So we dug through the deals now on offer and found three of the most versatile lights from Aputure. Best of all, you can control all three lights from this same app on your smartphone.

Aputure LS 600d Pro

Save $391!

Aputure LS 600d Pro

  • Color: 5600K, CRI/TLCI: 96
  • Beam Angle with 55° Reflector
  • Wireless DMX, Bluetooth Control
  • 4 Dimming Modes, Wireless Range: 328'
  • Comparable to a 1200W HMI
  • 8 Built-In Lighting Effects
  • AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz
Daylight (V-Mount)
$1,499

One of its newest fixtures, the Aputure LS 600d Pro is a powerful COB LED fixture. It offers expansive power and control options, as well as output comparable to a 1200W HMI when augmented by its 55° Hyper Reflector. This unit is daylight balanced and offers a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96, which is great for location shooting outdoors or in areas dominated by other daylight-balanced fixtures such as HMIs.

Besides power, control is a driving force in the design of the 600d Pro. The light also has a myriad of wireless control methods, such as the included 2.4 GHz remote, the Sidus Link mobile app, and the built-in wireless DMX control. It has four dimming curves—Linear, Exponential, Log, and S-Curve, to ensure accuracy regardless of your chosen brightness level. While you can make adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also make them wirelessly at a distance of up to 328' via these methods—a real attribute for lights mounted overhead or in hard-to-reach places.

This has to be one of the coolest lights Aputure has ever made. Not only does it have a small footprint, but the amaran 60d offers impressive output for its size. The fixture offers a solid 5600K color temperature for any daylight-dominated scene and an impressive CRI rating of 96. The panel is dimmable from 0 to 100% without flicker or color shift and includes eight special effects. All of these adjustments can be made locally on the unit or wirelessly from a distance with your smartphone and the Sidus Link app like the 600D.

The light is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on NP-F or D-tap batteries when AC power is unavailable.
