David Ehrlich's video is the highlight of every end of the year.
The reason I write for No Film School is because of the way movies make me feel inside. There's an uplifting, artistic, and just emotional release when you watch a great film. They transport you places, help you gain empathy, and ignite your senses in so many different ways.
Chief film critic at IndieWire, David Ehrlich, understands this and promotes these ideas with his end-of-the-year video.
One of my favorite things is when we reflect on the movies of a given year. I see so many movies that some titles get lost in my mind, and a video reflection of a critic's top picks always helps center me, allowing me to reevaluate and reimagine all the titles I loved in a given year.
The annual drop of David Ehrlich's 25 Best Films always feels like a meditative moment. Check it out below.
Man, that just really energized me and made me want to rewatch all the magic I experienced this year.
This year's video is in support of the non-profit Food with Fam, which supplies food to thousands of New York families and individuals in need. You can also donate to Ehrlich's GoFundMe, which helps raise money for Food with Fam. Please consider donating to the cause.
It would be really cool to see some of our readers donate to this incredibly important cause.
