Encoding Problems

We are shooting 6k on a Red Epic Dragon and editing in Premiere Pro. We are trying to create 4k h265 files but are not getting positive results. We are currently using Adobe ME and many of our final renders have serious banding and noise issues.

Does anyone have any info on setup, settings, better software, etc. that can help us with this. We are also working with feature length sequences so any advice that does not call for a multi day render would also be nice, but at this point anything that will help point us to better looking deliverables would be greatly appreciated.

There is a software directly from RED which allows you to encode your footage into any codec you want to.

Visit: https://de.red.com/downloads?category=Software&release=final
Look for REDCINE-X PRO
