The full list of winners and nominees for the 2017 Golden Globes.
La La Land swept the 2017 Golden Globes tonight, winning in each category for which it was nominated: Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy; Best Actress; Best Actor; Best Director; Best Screenplay; Best Original Score; and Best Original Song. That's the most Golden Globe wins for a single film in the history of the awards show, a record that was previously held by One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and the Midnight Express (1978), each with six wins.
The biggest surprise was undoubtedly Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Best Supporting Actor win, the first category announced on the program, for Nocturnal Animals. In another surprising turn, The Night Manager claimed three wins, for Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Laurie.
Other multiple award winners include Atlanta, which won for Best Comedy TV Series and Best Actor (Donald Glover); The Crown, for Best Drama TV Series and Best Actress (Claire Foy); Elle, for Best Foreign Film and Best Actress (Isabelle Huppert); and The People vs. OJ, for Best Limited TV Series and Best Actress (Sarah Paulson).
After coming up empty-handed all night, Moonlight took home its just desserts with Best Motion Picture, Drama.
And in a speech that will certainly go down in Hollywood history, Meryl Streep lambasted President-Elect Donald Trump in front of a rapt audience: "When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose."
Here are the nominees and winners (in bold) for each category:
