How to replicate this color grading style?

Any tips on how to create a similar, cinematic yet dreamy effect like in this video:

Does anyone have any clue what the producer of this video may have done to the raw footage to achieve the effect? I am using Adobe After Effects.

Given that it's a BMPCC, the grade is likely based off of a BMDfilm gamma. From such a flat profile, one can manually crush (or not crush very much at all) the blacks and burn (or not burn very much) the highlights.

You could try pushing everything a bit more warm, lower the contrast or bring up the shadows. I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but one thing I only learned recently was a plug in that comes with after effects under effect, synthetic aperture, called SA color finesse. It gives you a lot more freedom to color grade in after effects. Good luck

I did not get the idea you were used in this video. How you want to mix these colors? As a designer working in Web design company Qatar i have no idea about it. I am really sorry to say that it is really complicated one.
