Jason Hellerman graduated from Penn State University in Film Production & English and holds an MFA in Screenwriting & Film Theory from Boston University. Jason has worked as a Story Editor for several A-list clients and continues to do story consulting.
In 2013, his screenplay, Shovel Buddies, made the top ten of the annual Black List. Shovel Buddies was purchased and produced by AwesomenessTV and debuted at the SXSW film festival in 2016.
Outside of Hollywood, Jason has collaborated on commercials for Nintendo, Ford, Universal, and SyFy.

I want him to be joking but I truly don't think he is!
I debated on both but thought it was okay to let people see it since we highlighted portions of his words. I wanted people to know we were not exaggerating. I don't care about his views, especially in the context of debunking. I don't imagine we cover him ever again.
I would say that many feel that the police do act like predators, and it is in many of their natures to provoke. Especially given the videos we've seen the last few years.
Neither of those books devote 10+ chapters to actually breaking down movies that bring them joy.
One is about working in Hollywood and the other is about making movies. I’ve written about each plus many more books on NFS.
Never was this written to be a critic or look at these books. It’s just an appreciation for someone diagramming the films they loved and why, while breaking them down through a critical lens. Sorry for loving something.
