First and foremost I didn't go to film school. In fact, I have a master degree in Civil Engineering. I just figured out that movies are what I truly love. So I'm not in the film school now and I will never be. I hate academic life.
However, I have worked as the video editor full time. Now I freelance. I've edited a number of commercials, youtube videos, short doc and assisted in short fiction.
David Mamet once said, that there are only three ways to learn filmmaking.
1. On the set
2. In the cutting room
3. In the theater watching the audience
I decided to treat it as a guide in my filmmaking journey.
I only added two ingredients that are stressed by Akira Kurosawa and Werner Herzog – reading and... living.

Essential Motion was created for CC 2019 and CC 2020. So, unfortunately, they won't work as they should in the older versions.

I always keep two versions of Premiere around. You can select the option to leave the old version on the system. This is the ONLY way to go
I suggest changing the title. It may be a bit confusing. It's probably 2 or 3 months before it's available to users.
It's not that Resolve doesn't have any of these features. Kyno is for people who need to log/preview, etc. their footage before importing into their NLE. If you're a single person video production army, you can be just fine without it. But if you think about building assets database that is searchable across different projects and discs, or you collaborate with others, Kyno will offer some additional features.
