Well the huge amount of lens options might be a pretty good justification.

The air is going to be a better option than the 13inch pro, if you want the pro it'd be better to go with a 14inch m1 pro. Truth is though, the air is plenty powerful for most especially if your using proxies or changing your timeline to half resolution which most NLE's have made super easy to do these days.

As much as I love cinema, as a new dad who's baby was born in 2020 I feel like I somehow lucked out with a bunch of content to watch at home this past year, it's actually been kind of awesome that I've been able to see new releases. I think it's important to note that we are still in uncertain and scary times with covid. Can we really judge the state of cinema at a time were an audience is risking their life to watch a movie? I don't really think so. I think it will bounce back but it is taking longer than most of us expected. The plus side is that people are still consuming, the viewing experience changed but what's being viewed hasn't really, there are still audiences out there and the need for talented storytellers and filmmakers is stronger than ever.

Totally agree! I was trying to get my rabbit ear antenna to get ABC but had to just give up, I only get a few networks and don't want to pay for the local channels when I only watch a few select things from it. They need to find a better way to broadcast it.
