Virtual Reality: What Works, What Doesn’t, and How to Navigate a New Frontier
There is a panel at the Made in NY Media Center by IFP on December 8th about what it takes to tell a story in Virtual Reality, from concept, to production, to distribution. This is a stellar panel consisting of Mike Woods (Framestore’s Digital Department), Marcelle Hopkins (director of the Immersive Documentary Recipe for Famine), Ray Tintory (Court 13 filmmaking collective), Heidi Boisvert (future Perfect lab), Jaime Pallot (Emblematic Group) who will bring together creative forces across different facets of VR storytelling, from CG animation to live action documentary, from branded content to originals. The panel will be moderated by Jess Engel, producer at Virtualize.
