Learn lessons from one of the best superhero screenplays ever.
Are you a fan of Marvel movies? One of the best to come out in recent memory is the sequel to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Written by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole, the film's screenplay does the incredible feat of telling an entertaining story while also mourning the loss of the late Chadwick Boseman.
The movie comes out on Disney+ on February 1st, 2022. I suggest reading along with the action. It can give you a clear idea how Marvel movies are translated from the page to the screen. You can also see if anything was reimagined or cut during the development process.
I also think the character arcs for Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Princess Shuri (Letitia Wright), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and M’Baku (Winston Duke) are incredibly poignant and something to study. We don't usually have these kinds of movies deal with serious topics, but his one does an amazing job.
